About Explorers

It is mandatory to ensure children are directed to the correct play areas and supervised appropriately.
- Free Play: 90 – 110 cm (supervised); 110cm+ (independent).
- Toddler Area: 75 cm+ (supervised).
- Water Play: 75 – 110 cm (supervised).
- Under 75cm: Cannot access play areas
Tickets & Booking
Recommended but not required for general visits. However, Play Shops and birthday parties must be booked.
Yes. Free Play packages, Play Shops, and selected experiences are available for online booking.
Yes, you can add Workshops, Picasso, or Pottery Painting during your visit, subject to availability.
Only children are charged. Parents, guardians, nannies, and carers enter free of charge.

Children under 110 cm must be supervised by an adult. Children 110 cm and above may play independently in Free Play.

Wristbands and Wallet
Managing entry/exit, tracking play time, confirming bookings, optional payments, locating children, and triggering alerts for unexpected exits.
Yes. Stored value can be used for café food, Play Shops, Picasso, and Pottery Painting.
You will receive WhatsApp notifications 15 minutes before time ends, at the end of the session, and if an overstay occurs.
A free play charge may apply. A payment link will be sent, though charges may be waived at Explorers’ discretion.
Yes, parents may leave and return at any time during the visit using their QR code.

Plan Your Visit
Explorers is located at City Centre Mirdif, Level 1, inside the Northern Food Court, just above Carrefour.
Yes. A signed waiver is required for all children before they play. You can complete it using the QR codes in the queue or at reception.
No. Waivers are valid for one year and can be retrieved using your mobile number.
Shoes must be removed before entering the play areas. Socks are required for the Free Play and Toddler areas, and are available to purchase at reception if needed.
Children enter River Play barefoot, so socks must be removed before splashing in. Floor mats are available to help dry little feet before returning to the dry play areas.
Parties & Groups
Yes. We offer a variety of birthday party packages, which can be booked in advance through our website or events team.
Workshops
Explorers workshops are structured, staff-led sessions designed to help children focus, create, learn and try something new. Sessions run for 1 or 2 hours, must be booked in advance and are suitable for children aged 3+.
Most workshops are child-only sessions, giving kids space to explore independently. Parent participation is only required for sessions specifically labelled “Parent & Child.”
Picasso is a creative painting experience for children aged 3+. No booking is required, and participation is subject to availability, with 24 seats per session.
Pottery Painting is a creative activity for all ages. Choose and paint your piece in the café, then our team will fire it for you. You’ll receive a slip and can collect your finished creation once it’s ready.
